While Miamiand Key West — and more recently Fort Lauderdale and Orlando — are the more popular gaycation destinations in Florida, Tampa offers open parks, pioneering gastronomy, cultural venue and a relaxed pace of life. While not the most liberal city in Florida, Tamp still has a very active and visible LGBT community — and gay travelers are unlikely to experience any issues, especially in the tourist-popular areas.

This little area is right for you if you're looking for cigars or gay bars. Otherwise I wouldn't say it's anything great. It was very dirty, full of smoke for cigar bars and not family friendly.
